There are 60 levels in WaniKani, and I just made it to level 40 for the first time since I joined Wanikani in 2015. Yep, that's right, that took me 10 years, just a little while longer than the 'just over a year' in the ad below 😂

I bought these delightful paper masks (men) when I first arrived in Japan (so a very long time ago!) and now they're hanging above the sink in my California kitchen. Every time I look at them, they remind me of all the good luck I've had in all the places I've traveled to and have lived in.
