If you already know "arigatō gozaimasu" (ありがとうございます - thank you) and "sumimasen" (すみません - excuse me/sorry), yoroshiku onegaishimasu will be a great addition to your toolbox.
"Yoroshiku onegaishimasu" (よろしくお願いします) is often translated as "please take care of this" or "I look forward to working with you." Depending on the context, it can also simply mean "thank you". What it definitely does is convey respect and a sense of partnership.
